Infrastructure and platform

Cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.

Build the platform capability you actually need.

Cloud, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containers, secrets, observability, recovery and migrations are useful when they remove delivery risk or friction. We design the capability around the operating problem, not around a fashionable stack.

When this helps

Useful when delivery is slow or fragile, environments drift, infrastructure cannot be reproduced, recovery is uncertain, access is hard to govern or a migration needs a controlled engineering path.

Typical work

  1. 01

Cloud and infrastructure foundations: access, IaC, networking, secrets, backups and recovery.

  2. 02

Delivery systems: CI/CD, environments, release controls, rollback and observable deployments.

  3. 03

Platform changes: containers, migrations, standardisation and the tooling needed to operate them.

What you get

What you get

  • A current-state and target architecture for the bounded platform capability.
  • Version-controlled infrastructure, pipeline or configuration artefacts appropriate to the agreed scope.
  • Verification evidence, rollback or recovery paths, operational documentation and a residual-risk register.

How the engagement works

How the engagement works

  1. 01

Establish owners, dependencies, environments, change constraints and the current recovery state.

  2. 02

Define the target capability and acceptance criteria before choosing implementation details.

  3. 03

Implement in reproducible, observable increments with review and rollback or fallback.

  4. 04

Verify the capability, transfer repositories and operational knowledge, and record remaining backlog.

Boundaries

Boundaries

  • This is not an unlimited queue of unrelated DevOps tasks or general system administration.
  • Application feature development, help desk and ownership of every client technology are outside scope by default.
  • A migration does not proceed without known dependencies, owners, verification and a credible rollback or recovery path.

Acceptance & handover

Acceptance & handover

  • The agreed platform capability exists and can be reproduced from controlled artefacts.
  • Verification demonstrates the expected state for the defined acceptance criteria.
  • Monitoring and recovery are sufficient for the agreed scope rather than assumed.
  • Repositories, configuration, documentation and operational ownership are under client control at handover.

Common questions

Common questions

Do you sell a particular cloud or Kubernetes stack?

No. Technology follows the target capability, constraints and existing environment; the tool list is not the product.

Can we use a retainer for any technical task?

No. A retainer has a managed backlog, capacity limit and platform objective; materially different work is re-qualified.

Can you migrate production without downtime?

Only if the assessed system supports that outcome. We do not promise a cutover characteristic before dependencies and rollback have been examined.

Evidence, not promises

Evidence, not promises

Our public engineering method uses the same sequence: establish facts, define the boundary, change safely and hand over a controlled state.

How we work

The result

Infrastructure you can reproduce and operate

  • Infrastructure and environments described in code or documented configuration where appropriate.
  • A delivery path with explicit release controls, observability and rollback.
  • Access, secrets, backup and recovery responsibilities made clear.
  • Documentation that lets your team operate and change the platform without guesswork.
